PAR 4 - 361 Yards
If you wish to test your strength & accuracy, this par-4 can be reached from the tee. The ideal play is a slight draw over the big tree on the right. If hit well enough, the shot will bound down the hill toward the green. Good luck!
"This is the ultimate risk/reward hole. TOUR players will probably try to drive it come July - yes, it is downhill & drivable for long hitters - but the punishment for missing can be severe. Go for it & miss left and you are in the 'Valley of Sin', a tightly mowed low area that will leave you with a blind shot to a small, well-protected green. Go long & you will be lost down a 60' bluff. Green is more contoured than most of the others."

History
During the early '70s, the search was on by Deere & Company for a tag line tailored to its new line of snowmobiles. The company's advertising department enlisted the help of the Gardner Agency out of St. Louis.
Gardner's copywriter, Bob Wright, came up with over 100 tag lines, wrote them on pieces of paper & arranged them on the conference table during the presentation. No one saw anything they liked. Finally, Wright announced that he had an idea that he had rejected the night before, but had retrieved out of the wastebasket before he left. He placed a crumpled piece of paper on the table with the phrase that won instant approval: "Nothing Runs Like a Deere."
The 14th hole is dedicated to Bob Wright & one of the most famous tag lines in the
history of American business: "Nothing Runs Like A Deere®."
