PAR 4 - 454 Yards
Although the right side of the tree calls for a more accurate tee shot, the more confident players will enjoy the shorter approach & better angle to the flag if they can pull it off. Be careful with the safer tee shot to the left, as a drive that rolls too far may leave you with a blind 2nd shot.
"A unique hole with a large oak in the middle of the landing area creates a double-fairway. Bunkers guard the left side while trees guard the right side. The green sits at 1 of the highest points on the course & appears to float on the horizon. If you miss the green left, right or long, you are in for a tough chip to a small putting surface. Fly the green & you might as well drop another ball."

History
The family of William A. & Patricia Hewitt owned this property for over 40 years as Friendship Farm, a top Arabian horse-breeding operation. Patricia Hewitt was the great-great granddaughter of John Deere & William Hewitt served as Deere & Company's chairman & CEO from 1955-82, during which the company become the world's top producer of agricultural equipment, as well as a leader in construction, forestry & lawn care equipment.
The Hewitt family always respected this land & felt strongly that its next use should be one that allowed the greatest number of people to enjoy it.
The lone oak in the fourth fairway is known as the "Hewitt Tree." In recognition of the family's good stewardship, it reminds all who pass it of the responsible land use that has always been a part of this property's history.
